Scottish Piper Pewter Quaich with Celtic Banding Scotland's Cup of Friendship.
Quaich (pronounced "Quake"), derives from the Gaelic word “cuach,” for cup. I like the notion they were used for toasting a welcome, and sharing some good Malt Whiskey. I still use for the same. They tend to be used as christening and wedding gifts, sharing and blessing being the thought.
