Charak is a prominent furniture manufacturer based in Boston, renowned for its high quality reproductions of 18th century and Colonial furniture. This piece likely dates from the 1940's or 1950's and is signed. It is made in three pieces for easy transport. The base is Tiger Maple. The writing table has been repaired and the "hidden" drawer is available but not attached. The keys are not available but may be able to be purchased.
