The Warmink clock was produced by a company founded in 1929, in Almelo, a small town in the Netherlands. The Warmink clock is also known as the WUBA clock, because the company was originally called Warmink Uurwerken en Barometers Almelo (WUBA). Due to their high quality and dependability, most Dutch households have at least one Warmink clock.
The Warmink Clock Company produced many different clock styles including the famous Zaanse clock, the Sallander clock, as well as the impressive Friesian clock. Unlike a German clock, a Warmink clock is more heavily decorated and presents with the old world Dutch influences. Although the Warmink Clock Company is no longer in business, their quality and timeless designs remain popular and are considered collector's items.
