"Salt and pepper set, American, 1948, in sterling silver, stamped on the base Reed & Barton - Sterling in capital letters, with horseshoe hallmark (= year symbol) and with No. 756/87, Reed & Barton founded in 1824 in Taunton Massachusetts, namesake Henry G. Reed and Charles E. Barton, round base, ovoid body, bell-shaped scattering attachment with small knob; very good condition;
