Folk Art Wood Gavel With Interesting History

The gavel made of various woods taken from the General Grant Tree, Lookout Mountain in Tennessee, Luzon Island, a warship being built in Seattle, and the Spanish Warship Christiana Regina. Signed not accompanies the gavel with makers name appears to be J. H. Haggerty. Each wood item identified by "dots" next to the inlay.

Notes: In used but good condition, accompanying note is torn and faded.
