Richard Franklin Bartlett (1900–1989) was an American artist known for his meticulously detailed pen-and-ink drawings, lithographs, and paintings. After attending the Vesper George School of Art for a year, he began a successful career in commercial illustration. He worked for notable clients like Boston Jewelers, Shreve Crump and Low, and the Newcomen Society, for whom he provided illustrations for over 40 years. His works are in the collections of the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Library of Congress, among others.
