Etching and engraving, artist names on lower left and right, framed. Part of a series titled "A Paris chez Buldet rue de Gesvres." Text on front reads: "Le Bal fait plus d'une meprise: / L'amoreaux Damis a genoux / Crois baiser la main de Cephise, / Il trouve ce plaisir bien doux; / Mais c'efl a Daphne qu'il en conte, / Il adora pour trahir. / Bien souvent on trouve sa honte / Ou l'on croit trouver son plaisir." Original painting by Freudenberger, etched and engraved by Duclos and Ingouf.
