Welcome to MJS Antiques "Remains of the Day" in Poughkeepsie, NY. Our consignor's dad was one of those guys, guys. Hunter, fisherman, mechanic, the do-it-your self type for sure. He accumulated a vast ...view morenumber of tools, mechanical devices, automotive, electrical, firearm related, hunting, fishing & more. This sale is to settle the estate, the family having saved the memento's they wanted but no room for the rest, thus the remains of the day is on hand.
A wide variety of a little bit of everything you'd find in many garages, workshops, man-caves, tool sheds & more, plus some other misc. household, even some collectibles blended in. Some items are huge and/or heavy, they will require serious strength to move them so you MUST be prepared to bring all the help you will need to collect & load into your vehicles. Due to complexity, logistics in removal and/or time needed to do so, some appointments will be offered as time allows in our schedule for pickup of the heaviest/biggest pieces on another date/time besides the Sunday pickup 3hr window. We can ship some things, but you must check with us first before expecting it to be shipped to be sure we can, don't assume! Some neat/interesting things in this sale, we hope to see you soon!

PLEASE NOTE - For those items that can be shipped (and you contacted us about it before buying it), those costs are separate ...view moreand not included in your CHES auction invoice. Shipping charges are payable directly to the auction managers via Paypal, checks or money orders within 3 days of our notice of shipping costs to you. Unpaid shipping will result in forfeiture of your item. All Buyer's must contact the auction managers regarding shipping BEFORE the auction conclusion to ensure we can ship it and have the means to do so. Do not wait until the last hour to ask those questions we may not be able to get back to you with an answer.

* If you cannot make the pickup, send a friend/family member and notify the auction managers of the change.
* Please bring a pre-signed copy of your invoice. If you do not have your invoice with you, be prepared to show a copy of your invoice on your phone.
Winning Bidders MUST:
- Bring help for large/heavy items & proper packing materials.
-CHES Auction Management will not be able to load heavy items into your vehicles.
- Packing, Loading, Moving & Transporting of your items will not be provided upon pickup.
All sales are final. All items are SOLD AS IS / WHERE IS. Bidders are strongly encouraged to ask any questions prior to bidding. While MJS ANTIQUES will do its best to list any damage, repairs or restorations, the absence of these descriptions or conditions must not be taken to imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Most of the items MJSANTIQUES sells are antique, vintage or used. You should expect signs of wear consistent with age. All sales are final. No returns, credits or exchanges.
