We proudly present the estate of George and Gertrude, two creatives prolific in both their personal and private lives. George was an architect and watercolorist, and Gertrude an interior designer and oil painter. Their artistic sensibilities ...view moreand love of travel show in this collection, which includes Pre-Columbian artifacts collected on trips to South America and artifacts from Myanmar, Europe, China and several African countries. They kept a vast book collection, including vintage and contemporary books on art, architecture, literature, politics, travel and culture. Included in the estate are their own paintings and other original art, including many by listed artists.

George and Gertrude occupied their large Upper West Side apartment for over 50 years. George passed this November, Gertrude 10 years prior. Thank you for giving their beloved belongings space for a second life.
