The senior homeowner of this collection lived in this Upper East Side apartment for over 40 years, but has not been in residency for the last three. The apartment was wall to wall art — mostly ...view moreoriginals, many by listed artists. The homeowner was a runner, a huge reader, and a big sports fan who attended several Olympic games. While everything in this auction is in good (and sometimes even new) condition, expect some dust as it has sat unattended for these past few years.

Artists include Chuck Jones, Leonid Afremov, Harold Altman, Max Agostini, Leroy Neiman, John Dorish, Ruth Schindler, Frank Ettenberg, Alfred Sussi, Charles Lanier, Al Narizzano, Ted Tanabe and many more.

Other highlights include 14K gold and sterling jewelry, a stamp collection going back to the 1800s, vintage Ethan Allen dining chairs, Baccarat and Tiffany crystal, Olympics souvenirs, vintage cameras, vinyl records, barely worn men’s running shoes, and a huge book collection.

Expect signs of wear consistent with age and use. The items in this sale have been in an un-lived in apartment for over 4 years so some are dusty. All sales are final with no refunds and all items are sold as is.

In-person pick-up on East 66th Street on Saturday March 8th. Bring packing materials and help to move heavy items. The elevator will be available. 


Shipping available only on jewelry and a few other items as marked in the catalog with the black box icon on the top right of each lot. Your card on file will be charged for the smallest USPS flat rate box needed. To have larger items shipped or delivered, we recommend Donny’s Delivery & Courier Services (561) 929-1339. He will pick up your winnings on your behalf and deliver them or bring them to UPS for shipping. No large furniture. It is crucial that you secure this service BEFORE bidding.

Items not picked up within the pick-up window will be considered forfeited.
