Greens Farms Nursery School Auction To Benefit The Outdoor Learning Space Renovations

At Green’s Farms Nursery School (GFNS), our philosophy is to facilitate the natural growth process of young children between the ages of one and five. Our goal is to nurture each child at a ...view morepace that is appropriate for them, in an environment that is supportive and sensitive. Our school is non-sectarian, non-discriminatory and open to all age-appropriate children.

We believe in nurturing developmentally appropriate opportunities for learning, and that young children are competent and capable of achieving positive developmental outcomes, regardless of background and experience. We know that early learning and development are multidimensional, and that development in one domain influences development and other domains. Thus curriculum must consider a connection between all developmental domains.

Our annual Spring Fling fundraising event, which includes both a silent and live auction, is for the direct and tangible benefit of our students, families and community. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the planned redesign and renovations of our outdoor learning environments. Our outdoor spaces are more than just playgrounds: there are learning gardens, outdoor classrooms, lunch and snack areas, and group activity spaces. We can’t wait to bring our vision into reality!

The silent auction close will coincide with the live Spring Fling event on May 12th. Winning bidders who attend the Spring Fling may collect their items/certificates
at the event; items may also be collected at the GFNS office during normal business hours, M-F 8:30am – 2:30pm. Please phone the school at 203-227-9363 to schedule pickup outside of business hours.
