His scientific knowledge and over 22 patents to his credit were instrumental in the development of rocket technologies, that not only helped us win the Second World War, but also helped us to win the space race during the Cold War. Mr. Onyskin was responsible for the “fix” that made the Hubble Telescope function properly and provide the US with a plethora of information about the heavens. Al was also an experienced HAM enthusiast and created a wonderful collection of HAM radios and equipment. With a lifetime of 98 years, there is sure to be something for everyone in this truly amazing auction honoring a very special man!!
