Dr. Nickerson was also an AVID and accomplished Clock enthusiast. As such he was a member of the Clockmaker and Watchmaker Institute. Most knew him as "The Tinkerer" who could and would make his own parts, for clocks, watches, boats, and just about anything else that needed to be fixed. Clock cases, parts and pieces, tools, nuts, bolts, covers, hinges, files, and then some are abound at this 100+ year old cottage on the open Moriches Bay. The history, the "I remember when" the tales told, and the legacy that Dr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Nickerson have left behind is like a test of time and will challenge you to know what some of these pieces are. Years of collecting, are only a click away, enjoy this hidden, buried treasure. There will be a few tables of misc. items for sale on the day and time of pick up. Cash only.
