Explore the antique and vintage treasures of an amazing couple who loved treasure hunting and enjoyed documenting their finds with special notes and newspaper articles. They owned The Wig Shop (not an actual wig shop but ...view morea popular hair salon) located in Farmington CT from the 1950's to the 1990's. Mom wrote notes on many of the pieces for her kids to explore one day. She began writing these notes in the 1950s. She recently passed away at almost 102 years old and her amazing daughter opened up her mom and dad's home to us so that we could showcase their wonderful treasures. What an emotional journey it has been for her and her brothers, checking out mom’s special notes. We included notes in the photos if an item had one. Take your time exploring and getting to know this wonderful family. Mom grew up in The Berkshires so there’s many references to her childhood home. You will find beautiful antique and vintage furniture, collectibles, decor, china, mirrors and so much more.
