Branford Compassion Club (BCC) Feline Rescue & Adoption Center is a non-profit 501c(3) feline rescue organization that serves not only Branford, Connecticut, but surrounding communities. The mission of the club is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless, abandoned and feral cats; to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals; and to establish an ongoing community network to achieve these goals.
Branford Compassion Club was founded in November 1997, by a handful of compassionate Branford residents concerned with the growing population of feral cats. The residents united to form BCC to alleviate the hunger and suffering of feral cats in this community. The shelter itself opened in February 2011 at 2037 Foxon Road in North Branford CT, next door to Pet Shield Veterinary Center.
BCC is a private organization receiving no funds from any municipal or government sources. Our entire source of income comes from donations in various forms, and from fundraising.
CRONE AND HAG
You’ll have to guess which one of us the Crone and which is the Hag. Suffice it to say, we’ve been selling antiques for a L O N G Time.
Please don’t ask ...view morethe Crone or the Hag to help you carry your items to your car, or strap them in. We’re old and can’t put our frail constitutions through the rigors of item transport. Besides, it’s against regulations. If you bought something heavy, or bulky, bring a friend to help you. It will make the drive to pick up more fun, and your friend can marvel at your exquisite purchase. It will give you something to talk about on the ride home.
We also won’t have wrapping materials, boxes or bags at pick up. We’d have to read an awful lot of newspapers to have enough to wrap the 100 items that are being auctioned off. And 100 boxes won’t fit in our car. Please come prepared.
We never hide a piece’s glorious imperfections. These items are old and have the mellow shadow of time on them. We try our best to provide meticulous documentation and photography of all damage and wear on what we sell. You will not be disappointed on pick-up day. More questions? Text: 203.645.4167
The Poisoned apple 🍎 is for size only and not included.
You never know what the Crone and Hag will dig up.
Bring your own newfangled ball point pen because we are so ancient, we only write in quill and ink. It takes some getting used to, and it stains your fingers.
Winning bidders should receive pick up address via email. Let us know if you don’t receive it. Make sure you have selected in your dashboard to receive auction win emails via email or text. Auction win emails and invoice can also be accessed via your dashboard after the sale closes.
Special instructions for Oxford, CT pickup:

Pick up will be Sunday, 6 March, 1 - 5pm. Follow green and white auction pick up signs. Items not picked up during the allotted time will be forfeited without refund.
