Item Description

Outstanding watercolor painting by late East Haddam, Connecticut artist William P. Tyner depicting a duck hunting scene with a man in a boat near the reeds, surrounded by ducks. This painting has brilliant execution and wonderful detail and I estimate it was painted in the 1960s judging by the styling of the artist's business card affixed to the back. It is signed in the lower right in paint, and professionally matted and framed.

Dimensions are for full framed piece, matting is estimated to be 3" all around.

Notes: Some foxing and moisture damage is evident on the matting and in the top part of the painting. I believe this can be professionally restored.
