Item Description

A beautiful watercolor painting by George Ayling (1887-1960). George Ayling was a British painter and illustrator best know for his marine landscapes of the English countryside, and his watercolors are highly regarded. His illustrations were used by the British Railways.
The painting is signed on the lower left - Geo Ayling and it's framed and matted nicely. The condition is very good and the frame measures 17 1/4" by 14 1/8". The watercolor is 9 3/4" by 6 1/4".
