Vintage Vernon Ware China "Green Gingham" Tartan Plaid Serving Set (3)

Mid century Modern China set made by Vernon Ware Poppytrail Metlox, in the 'Green Gingham' pattern. This hard-to-find pattern was made in California from 1939 - 1958. A beautiful example of Mid Century Modern pottery design. The set includes a Divided Vegetable Dish, Small Pitcher & Creamer.

The Green Gingham pattern under-glaze is hand painted and features a tartan plaid in green and yellow against an off-white background with a rim edged in green.
Set is in good condition, colors are vibrant, no chips or cracks.
