Vintage Steiff Alligator "Gaty"

A well-loved vintage Steiff alligator named Gaty, produced 1959-1964. He is missing his original Steiff button, which would have been attached with a tag to his back. This is the larger of two produced versions, with bright green glass eyes (but just one, the other is missing), felt claws, spine and teeth, hand-colored mohair plush and excelsior stuffing. Minimal spots of wear; one missing eye. Overall, very good vintage condition. Please see pics.
