Item Description

Vintage 1980 & Prior Louis Vuitton Canvas "Sac Triangle Bag". This is a Vintage LV and there are signs of wear and slight marks on the inside which are consistent with age and use. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS as part of the description and condition. Please be aware that the zipper is stamped ECLAIR which is one of the many zipper makers LV used in the 1980s and prior. I have attached a description for those not familiar with vintage LV Handbags. The bag Dimensions are 11"H (Top of Handles to Bottom) and 15.5"L. NOTE: Louis Vuitton Guide: zippers made by other companies
Before the middle of the 1980's there were many models of Louis Vuitton products, which used zippers made by other companies. Those especially well-known include ECLAIR, TALON, and Coats & Clarks.

ECLAIR
A great number of models used ECLAIR-manufactured zippers. From the start of the 80s many models such as Speedy, Mini Speedy, Papillon, Keepall, Keepall Bandouliere, Stratos, Sac Souple, Weekend, Trousse Toilette, etc... were not all ECLAIR, but rather were made with Louis Vuitton original zippers and because of this many are mistaken to be fake.
