Vintage Mercury Glass - Candlestick Taper Candle Holder - Covered Lidded Trinket Vanity Dresser Box

Vintage lot of two mercury glass items:

Box with lid measures 41/4” x 3 1/4” x almost 4” H. Good condition- no chips, cracks or flakes.

Candlestick measures 6 1/4” H x 3 5/8” in diameter at base. It has a metal insert to safely hold the standard sized taper candle. The edges at the top feel rough. The rest of the piece has no chips, no cracks, no flakes.

Neither are marked. I’m not exactly sure about the age. They are older but not necessarily antique. The candle stick is more of a silver colour than the box.
