Item Description

This German made (stamped on bottom) Danish Modern pull out sofa features it's original muted dijon mustard yellow upholstery with walnut arm rests and peg leg footing. Depending on your perspective, perhaps a candidate for reupholstery, but there is no denying its fantastic design aesthetic and iconic Mid Century Modern lines. Solid sturdy construction and mechanically sound the up and down pull out functionality all works well. Minor nicks and scratches to wood consistent with age, Original upholstery shows wear, some spotting and a cigarette burn mark, seemingly from many years ago, as the piece does not smell of smoke or have any noticeable odor or smell. The seating is also comfortable yet firm and supportive. Overall really a great piece and incredible find. 2 Matching lounge chairs listed separately in this auction.
