Vintage Marklin Train Set #2935 HO Scale Gauge Made In West Germany In Box

Vintage Marklin train set #2935 - in the original box (damaged), made in Western Germany, purchased at FAO Schwarz, New York, NY, includes engine, two cars, two straight tracks, eight curved tracks, transformer, untested.
All the pieces look like they were not used much. I think any wear and tear was just from lying around all these years.

Notes: Transformer cord is damaged so cannot try it, tracks look OK, engine looks OK, cars look OK.

Consistent with age and use.
