Vintage John James Audubon Framed & Matted "Two Shoreline Ibis" Birds
This is a vintage print, done later, from the original Havell 1834 reprint plate 231.
DESCRIPTIVE NOTES WRITTEN ON THE PRINT:
A. Plate 231
B. Drawn from nature by J.J. Audubon. F.R.S. , F.L.S.
C. Engraved,Printed & Coloured by R. Havell. 1834.
D. No. 47

DIMENSIONS: THE FRAMING IS 33 7/8" Wide x 26 1/8" Tall X 1 1/4" THICK. The artwork viewing area is 17 5/8" Tall x 25 1/4" Wide.

CONDITION: THIS BEAUTIFUL PRINT AREA IS IN VERY GOOD, VERY DEEP RICH COLORS CONDITION FOR MAXIMUM VIEWING PLEASURE. THE LARGE MATTING IS ALL GOOD. NO FOXING, DARKENING, OR STAINS OF ANY KIND. THERE IS ONE SMALL PIECE OF BROWN LINT UNDER THE GLASS AT "7 PM". THE FRAME HAS SMALL NICKS AND WEAR SPOTS FROM ITS MANY YEARS OF USE.

Condition

Consistent with age and use.
