Beautiful Vintage Hand Made Brass, Cloisonné & Hand Painted Enamel Portrait Chinese Clock
Clock measures 7 1/2" x 3 3/4" x 3"
Face features a hand enameled dial with Roman numerals on a white ground. The dial is surrounded by flowers and scrolls in shades of blue.
Each side of the clock has a hand painted woman's period portrait, each unique.
The cloisonné work adorns the top, finials, feet and bands at top and bottom of case.
Bevelled glass on front of case.
Door opens in back to change the battery.
Excellent condition.
No chips on enamel or cloisonné.
These clocks were reproductions of earlier pieces, made for export, and very pricey!
This piece is very heavy.
