Item Description

This vintage engineering tool is simply amazing and haze never been used. Please see the original makers description below:

This desk instrument lends a new dimension to temperature display and desk accessories. It operates on the principle of temperature sensitive, encapsulated liquid crystals responding to changes in room temperature and reflecting light accordingly, giving accurate readings to within ½ to 1 °F. The graduation of this thermometer is in sequence of 2 °F. This will explain the fact that when two digits are il-luminated, the correct temperature is between the two. (The blue tail behind the temperature indicated on the panel will not disappear completely). Temperature range: 66 °F to 90 ° F (unless 1-2 last digits are taken out for logo imprinting purposes).
For best reflection, display the thermometer against light, but also where it is far enough from light sources so that it does not pick up heat from hot bulbs. Keep away from direct sunlight.
