Vintage Denton Trout Prints

A pair of vintage trout prints by Sherman Foote Denton (1856–1937), who provided the watercolor illustrations for some 100 chromolithographs documenting various species of North American fish and a few of other wildlife for the State of New York Fisheries, Game, and Forest Commission's Annual Reports from 1895 to 1909. These prints document the brown trout and rainbow trout. Matted and in gilt wood frames, missing dustcover and some clips; loose back. One print is missing its glass. Please see pics.
