Item Description

Carved black and red cinnabar over enameled brass, dating to the 1950s/60s. It is deeply carved, the black cinnabar creating the areas of high relief with villagers and mountains and the red secluded to the recessed areas with incised decoration. Some color fading to the lid, as shown, but it displays well.
