This auction features a charming set of vintage chalkware string dispensers, shaped as a chef and a Dutch girl, perfect for adding mid-century look to any of your kitchen or craft area.

1. Vintage Chalkware Chef String Dispenser: This delightful piece depicts a chef with a whimsical expression, complete with a signature chef's hat and mustache. The string is dispensed from the chef's pursed lips, adding a touch of fun and function. The back of the chef has a hook for wall mounting.

2. Vintage Chalkware Dutch Girl String Dispenser: This adorable piece portrays a Dutch girl with a sweet expression and her classic bonnet. Similar to the chef, the string is dispensed from the Dutch girl's lips. The back of the Dutch girl has a hook for wall mounting.

Authenticity & Construction: These dispensers are crafted from chalkware, a material popular in mid-20th century and a favorite for whimsical designs. Both pieces feature a hole on the back of the head for mounting to a wall with a string or nail. They are functional as string dispensers and also as wall decorations.

Notes: These items are in used vintage condition, and show some wear and aging common with chalkware items including minor paint loss due to the age of the pieces. The items are sold in as is condition. Please see photos for a more detailed look at condition.
