Item Description

It has good age, made in the 1950s/60s by the INUIT people of Alaska, for the export and tourist market. It has a functioning mercury thermometer, and is framed in thin panels of Walrus tusk [no paperwork required, a legal material]. It is artist signed on the back, in the same script as the numerals surrounding the thermometer. A neat vintage tribal cabinet item [diminutive in scale- 3 5/8" in height].
