Vintage AITO China Of Japan Hand Painted Dragon Vase 18K Gold

Beautiful AITO CHINA of Japan, 18k gold hand painted dragon vase. The background of the vase has a lovely opalescent hue, with an 18K gold dragon rising out of a blue-green ocean. In Japanese lore, dragons were worshipped as water gods. When emerging from the depths of the water to ascend to heaven, they heralded the arrival of spring.
It stands 7 3/4” inches tall and is in excellent condition.

Notes: The vase is in very good vintage condition.
