Vintage 1940s Movie Print On Board - Strange Cargo. The print on board is a poster for the 1940 film Strange Cargo, starring Clark Gable and Joan Crawford. Other actors listed on the poster include Ian Hunter, Peter Lorre, Paul Lukas, Albert Dekker, J. Edward Bromberg, and Eduardo Ciannelli. The film was directed by Frank Borzage and produced by Joseph L. Mankiewicz for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The screenplay, by Lawrence Hazard, is based on the book Not Too Narrow, Not Too Deep by Richard Sale. The print showcases the movie's poster, including the title, actors' names, and production credits. "Strange Cargo" is a drama about a group of convicts escaping Devil's Island. Note: The White Marks Seen on The Print are The Camera Flash reflections They are Not on the Actual Print. Some scratches above Clark Gabel's Eye, consistent with age and movement.
