Ultra RARE Vintage 1961 SANYO CADNICA TRANSISTOR RADIO- 1st Nicad Rechargeable Radio EVER CREATED

This radio is a pioneer, the 1st Nicad rechargeable radio EVER created . . .62 years ago! It has a sleek design and is sturdily built. Another feature SANYO was the first to create was the CASE seconding as a charging port. The radio would be placed back on the cradle to charge. Today this technology is taken for granted, but it was WAY ahead of its' time in 1961. It is in top-end condition throughout. The case has its' original headphones, still sealed in plastic. Needs a new cord for the case [lost to time], which is easy to find online for under $10-. A superb radio!
