Two Reverand Francis O. Morris (Anglo-Irish, 1810-93) Hand Colored Lithographs, Butterflies (a)

1. A diminutive, framed hand colored lithographic page depicting and titled, "Albin's Hampstead Eye", a wonderful butterfly in polychrome colors. Presented in a brass and black finished frame and glazed with glass.
Sight: 4 7/8"h x 3 1/8"w
Frame: 5 7/8"h x 4 1/8"w

2. Nicely framed hand colored print depicting two butterflies and a caterpillar, stacked vertically. The printed number '5' is below with the pencil written title "Pale Clouded Yellow" to the lower center of the page.
On verso is a note with the artist, title and date '1874'.
Presented in a brass and black finished frame and glazed with glass.
Sight: 9 5/8"h x 5 7/8"w
Frame: 10 3/4"h x 7"w

Condition: The paper is slightly browned with age but overall both present very nicely.
