Item Description

Part of a collection of antique Chinese opera puppets from the around the last quarter of the 19th century (Others listed separately).
These are two great antique Chinese opera puppet characters with wonderfully dramatic expressions. They are beautifully handmade with hand carved wooden heads, hands and shoes. Their outfits are also handmade and wonderfully detailed. Both are in good antique condition - they date back to the 19th century. They are 12" and 14" tall.
