This collector's lot offers a trio of editions of The Vision of Piers Plowman (written the late 1300's) that include:

The Vision of William Concerning Piers the Plowman by William Langland, edited by the Rev. Walter W. Skeat. Published by Oxford at the Clarendon Press (1906 - ninth edition). Hardcover dark brown cloth covered. Spine, binding and pages intact. Spine's sides show some scuff marks. Front cover has a small amount of staining and rippling of fabric. Front endpapers have minor pencil markings and ownership ink markings. There are several pencil translation notations throughout.

The Vision of Piers Plowman, Translation by Henry W. Wells, Introduction by Neville Coghill. Published by Sheed and Ward (1959 edition). Shamrock green cloth hardcover with dust jacket. Spine, binding and pages intact.

Langland's Vision of Piers Plowman, The Crowley Text or Text B, Edited by Rev. Walter W. Skeat. Published for the Early English Society by Geoffrey Cumerledge, Oxford University Press (1950 edition). Light blue softcover. Deckled paper edges. Yellowed tape on cover.
