Item Description

Amazing classic beauty by well listed British artist Herbert James Draper 1863-1920. Known for his Acadmicism and Pre - Raphaelite works. Title is The Gates of Dawn, from Drapers original painting in a London museum. Image has stunning architecture and beautiful young woman, Aurora. 19th century print, printed in Vienna, in early 20th century frame (probably American). Old original matt. Overall condition very good, water stain on lower edge of matt( see pics). Total framed size 37x23.5. Last photo is the museum painting.
