The Bride painting- accredited to George Gardner fish- Pastel On Paper- Oversized - Frame 58" Tall X 44" Wide. This pastel painting exemplifies Fish’s portraiture style. Portraiture refers to making portraits and defines the art category that includes all kinds of portraits.
The titles included The Bride ( The Maidens ). He painted multiple versions of these subjects with slight changes in their poses/ hairdos/ clothing/ etc. Lovely, oversized painting. In a large wooden frame.
At the back side paper has many tears, most had been taped over. But the wood is in good condition.

Dimensions: 36” wide x 50” tall (the visible painting), 44” wide x 58” height (the frame).

Notes: See photo #15 for evidence of a very small area of previous water staining. The other 98% is very good protected by glass.

Shipping requests must be made prior to end of the sale to Auction Manager: Ernie Taddei via the Auction site's message/ question feature. Packing, shipping fee invoices, and shipments take place the week after the Local Pick-Up day.
