Superb Ca. 1920 ELGIN 'FATHER TIME' PRESENTATION GRADE POCKET WATCH- OWNED BY PRIEST

This wonderful antique pocket watch has everything going for it. It is ELGIN's 'Father Time' model, a presentation-grade example, with a train conductor's porcelain dial [large hand painted numerals, porcelain is durable], ornate 14K gold filled case with chased decoration, good size [sz. 16] and a strong running movement [normally 21 jewels]. I did not want to force the case back open [needs a light oiling to spin off], but the watch is keeping good time, so the movement is tip-top. The best feature is the hand painted SACRED [BLEEDING] HEART, showing it was presented to and carried by a member of the clergy, likely a priest. Please refer to the photos for further details.
