STUNNING Vintage Solid Silver Figural Owl Pepper Pot By Prestigious Silversmith Richard Comyns

This luxury solid sterling silver pepper pot was manufactured by prestigious LONDON, England silversmiths RICHARD COMYNS. COMYNS is one of England's highest regarded silver firms, even under the commission of the Queen of England. This pepper/mustand pot is very detailed, with green jade cabochon eyes and a hinged head with inner well. It is fully hallmarked- RC for Richard Coymns, Lion passant for sterling silver, LONDON proof mark, and a lower 'h' date letter that places date of creation to 1963. Condition is excellent. It weighs 127 grams, so quite heavy. Similar examples commonly sell in the $700-800 range.
