This large round mirror is one of a kind. A genuine piece of art created from numerous types of nautical shells which form a masterpiece for your wall. Great for an entry or bathroom. Real and unique shells all the way around. Gorgeous metalwork on the top and bottom of the frame which extend out from the base construction. Crustaceans, crabs, langoustines, shrimp, starfish, what do you see? Purchased new for a couple thousand dollars in 2000. From Sea Island famous decorator, interior designer, Elizabeth Smith. This graced a beautiful beach home in Sea Island and later a beautiful beach house in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Perfect for a shore house or home with water views!

Notes: There are a handful of shells missing from the left side of the piece, at "9 o'clock". They are the brown small shell. This could certainly be repaired but it's honestly not noticeable from straight on so the current owners didn't fix. The damage is shown in photos.
