Item Description

Very fine antique basalt teapot by prominent English firm LEEDS. This is among the best period examples we could find, with a sterling silver finial with a Georgian aesthetic. It is VERY early, and dates to 1810 [213 years old]. Condition is remarkable for age. According to books, it is registered as the 'strawberry' pattern [for obvious reasons]. Part of the former DAVID BEATON collection.

please note- the affixed literature is correct, as the original owner wrote books on the subject. The price tag is over 30 years old, and examples of this nature have matured in value since then.
