Item Description

Fantastic linear nude image in the style of Matisse's later art. Signature looks like H. Meyers and the date is 1969. The negative space guides the image and is as much a part of the art as the delineated figure itself. The ground or backing is a thick white paper and measures 27&1/4" x 19&1/2". The image itself is about 23&7/8" x 15&7/8".

Notes: Wear and dirt to the margins. One divot in the black paper of the figure (see last photo).

Condition

Consistent with age and use.
