Sheraton Style Mahogany Card Gateleg Table

Late 19th century Sheraton style mahogany card table with a hinged serpentine bracketed rectangular top with castellated ends and a gateleg for additional support. The top edge has decorative inlay banding over outset corners and the serpentine apron has figured burl, flame wood panels, and marquetry. Table is raised on beautiful ring turned tapered and reeded legs with spade feet. Appraised at $1,500
