After breathing in all of the century-old damage - I decided to list this beautiful piece of historic patina. Yes there are holes in the top and yes there are extra wood pieces inside- but when you step back it becomes a gorgeous trip back into early American furniture making. Someone out there has the perfect room full of primitive and antique pieces where this will fit in and add- to th overall scheme and feel!! Bid now and bid often- they aren't making these beauties anymore.
Two antique forged steel hardware end handles. Flat head / square nail. The remnants of its original lid lock.
