This is a beautiful limited edition
Jack-in-the-Box
Music Box that plays "Send In The Clowns."
When you unlatch the lid on the box an embellished clown
pops up. This Jack-in-the-Box Music Box is numbered and
was designed by famous doll artist Faith Wick in 1986. Numbered.

American doll artist, Faith Wick is a famous character artisan
known for her "Little People Sculptures", or handmade dolls.
Best known for creating characters from nursery rhymes, folk
and fairy tales, as well as the circus, her fine quality, original, dressed sculptures are available in VERY LIMITED editions
to the discerning collector.

Lavishly crafted in porcelain and fabric, the intricate porcelain
head is beautifully hand painted and he is beautifully attired in
a costume befitting the famous early 19th Century English
comedic.
Grimaldi the clown was the toast of English comedy in the
early 19th century. He could win both laughter and tears and
was a master of pantomime.
He is housed in an ornately decorated lacquered wooden box embellished with legendary clown/circus scenes and other
elaborate scrolls and decorative elements.
Grimaldi is made of porcelain and fabric, he is in a charmingly decorated wooden box with legendary circus scenes.
