Rare Handpainted Swiss Reuge Working Music Box Carousel/Merry Go Round

This is a handpainted Reuge music box that is estimated to have been made in the 1960's.
It features 4 children riding 4 horses on a carousel. It is wound by turning the platform of the carousel and then pulling a stop pin located on the base. It plays "Carousel Waltz" (Richard Rodgers of Rodgers and Hammerstein)
Made in Switzerland. Missing top and a lot of the base paint has been peeled off.

It works perfectly. The wood on the carousel platform has a horizontal split that is approx 2.5-3 inches long-- Please see picture.

Consistent with age and use.
