This superb, rare antique photograph on glass makes a striking presence on a wall or bookshelf decor. The daguerreotype photo was the first publicly available photographic process widely used during the 1840s and 1850s. Invented by Louis Daguerre and introduced worldwide in 1839, with only the wealthy subjects as clients. This marvelous form of photography is housed in an antique frame.
