Grange Furniture Company, of France, solid mahogany & iron Bistro Table with 4 Grange Furniture Company iron & rattan chairs from France.
Grange Furniture was a furniture shop in Monts du Lyonnais, France that was established by Joseph Grange in 1904. The company produced heirlooms using "old-world techniques" such as dove-tail jointing, hand applied wood stain and lacquer. Designs are "subtle updates" based on the "feminine shapes" used in 17th century chateaux furniture by André-Charles Boulle and Jean-François Oeben, or other furniture from historic Provence, France homes. A five-foot cherrywood corner cabinet cost about $6,000 in 2009
45" diameter table top x 29 1/2" tall. The chairs are: 34 1/4" tall with 17 1/2" wide x 16 1/2" deep seats that sit 17 1/2" off the floor.
Notes: Some tiny nicks in the table top but hard to see.
