They are not blocks, but figures. Not sure if they are supposed to be in school, but they look like they are having fun. There are 12 figures, and a dog, or lamb? The old fellow seems to be missing a leg, and one of the younger fellas (still 150 years old) has an arm off somewhere, but otherwise in very good condition.
